Val d'Isère, France

Looking for some powder fun? Check out Val d'Isère!
Here are some of the many good reasons:
- there is more scope for skiing off-piste than on piste
- itineraries are really easy to reach
- wide slopes offer something for everyone
- slopes face all different directions - so you can ski in powder all day long

Getting there
Val dIsère is the ideal village to be based in since, unlike nearby Tignes, it has retained some of its characteristic feel and it has a great nightlife, too. To get there from Italy, drive through the Mt. Blanc tunnel and follow the signs, via Megève, to Albertville. Continue to Moutier, then drive up the Isère valley to Bourg St. Maurice and then Val dIsère. |
