Fast & Furious - Aiguille de Chatelet

Getting there
From Courmayeur drive up Val Veny and park at a Promotton. Access
From the car park at Promotton in Val Veny continue on foot towards the campsite La Sorgente and take the path that leads to Rifugio  Monzino. Do the first part of the ferrata to reach the large grassy ledge at half-height. Walk along this ledge to a larch tree at circa half way; a track leads off from here to via Velociraptor. Follow this for 50m to a cairn, from here scramble diagonally upwards to the face. Cairn marker at the base. Itinerary

P6: 30m, 5c
From the 6th belay follow the line and bolts of S6 Velociraptor rightwards to reach the slab belay. Finish up the final pitch of Idrotecnica (yellow/gold Fixe bolts) tp reach the grassy ledge. Walk along this to descend on foot. Descent
Descend on foot down the ledge at half-height to reach the ferrata path that leads to Rifugio Monzino.
