Route



Beautiful south facing rock climb, recommended in spring or summer. Dolomitspit was first ascended over a period of three days from 2007 to 2015. Protected by pegs and trad gear, as well as some bolts at the belays. Calculate between 6 - 9 hours for a repeat. On the same face

Getting there
From Passo Gardena descend towards Corvara and park the car in the lay-by at the first hairpin bend. Walk up northwards across the alpine meadow for 50m, then follo the path rightwards towards Rifugio Forcelles. Once on the plateau below the South Face walk past the barn and then turn left shortly afterwards and follow the track to reach the base of the face. Access

From the top of the route traverse left to reach the obivous path westwards to reach Forcella Crespeina and path # 2.
This path coasts past Rifugio Jimmy and leads down to Passo Gardena and the car. Gear
