Nevegàl - Faverghera - Terrazza sul Lago
The Nevegàl crag, also referred to as Terrazza sul Lago or Faverghera, is famed for its rough limestone plastered with thin tufas, the Nevegàl cliff is located on a beautiful natural terrace that over- looks Lake Santa Croce and the Cansiglio plateau. The routes tackle a variety of styles up slabs and vertical faces and gene- rally offer mid-grade difficulties. Although the cliff is located at a relatively high altitude, given its aspect hot summer days are best avoided and the ideal periods are therefore either spring or autumn.
Reach the Nevegàl ski lifts and continue uphill along the road Via Faverghera, following signs for the restaurant La Casera. After a series of hairpin bends reach the restaurant and its car park. Continue on foot along the path that coasts the paved road uphill. After a few meters and after the old ski-lift pylon the path bears left. After the clearing and next to the wooden sign the path descends steeply down towards Lake Santa Croce. With the help of some fixed ropes quickly reach the base of the wall.
