By: Climband Belluno
Country: Italy, Region: Veneto, Town: Longarone (Belluno)

Podenzoi is a jewel in the Piave valley crown. Located just above Longarone, this cliff provides technical, mainly vertical climbing on rough grey limestone decorated with plenty of tufas. Podenzoi is split into four sectors which, more or less, become harder the further you go from right to left. The first sector on the right is reached after a short approach and hosts numerous 6a’s and 6b’s. As you continue left you encounter Acque and Cara ti Amo, probably the most characteristic sectors of this crag, before reaching the sector Killer Finger with the most demanding climbs. The tufas seep and usually take a few days to dry after extended periods of rain.

Reach Longarone and drive through the center along Via Roma. Shortly after the town hall turn left off the main road and drive up the road that leads to the hamlet of Santa Chiara and then to Podenzoi; at the forks keep driving uphill. After a series of hairpin bends reach a tunnel, park just before this on the side of the road, on the right close to some boulders. Reach the crag by following the short, obvious path slightly uphill on the other side of the road.
