Route

This rock climb ascends the north face of Campanile Basso past excellent rock. The belays were bolted shortly after the first ascent.

For those wishing to climb it, we recommend a combination of routes up through the north face, starting from Bocchetta del Campanile Alto (see topo and photo).
Access
Destrani starts from the circular ledge; reach the base of the route by climbing the first 6 pitches of the Normal route. In order to reach the base of the north face and climb the direct start, walk along the via ferrata Bocchette Centrali to the short gully that leads up to the col Forcella del Campanile Alto (45 minutes from rif. Pedrotti, 5 min from the via ferrata to the start of the climb). Descent
Abseil down the Normal route. 8 equipped abseils Gear
As to the gear, we recommend a full rack of Friends up to #3, plus a few micro-friends and a second set of mid-size friends. As mentioned, the belays that were protected by Friends and nuts have been bolted. Notes
This route was climbed in memory of Maria Mariotta Oss Pegorar
