One of America's strongest climbers Daniel Woods has just caught the headlines with his recent first ascent of the boulder problem The Game at Boulder Canyon, Colorado, USA. Woods spent a total of 17 days spread out over two years and concluded that his recent problem is "definitely another level" when compared to two testpieces, Terremer V15/Fb8C and Jade V15/Fb8C and as such is certainly one of the hardest problems to date.

While his recollection of Jade may be slightly fuzzy as this first ascent dates back to 2007, that of Terremer is certainly smack on: he carried out the third ascent of Fred Nicole's V15 work of art at Hueco Tanks not even a fortnight ago. This leads us to believe that few will have the privilege to play and win on The Game!
