Biography
Davide Camisasca was born in 1953 in Milan. In 1972 he moved to Gressoney-St-Jean (Ao), to work as a mountain guide and photographer, consequently specialising in mountain photography.

His published works include books about Mont Blanc, Gran Paradiso, Gran San Bernardo and Monte Rosa. In 1996 a trip to Tibet, Mount Kailas and the Mustang region resulted in his book entitled "Il regno di Lo" (The Kingdom of Lo).

Many of his images have been published in illustrious photographic magazines such as "Pro", "Foto Graphia" and "Progresso fotografico".

I've always attempted to transmit my emotions through photography, combing profession with passion.

Camera info
For my Tibet and panorama photos I used a Linhof 6x17.
For my Mustang photos I used a Canon eos1n and Noblex 6x12, while all other photos were taken with a Mamiya 6x7.

I use Fuji Velvia and Ilford fp4 films.
