Paolo Biamonti was born in Sanremo, Italy in 1969.
He lived in La Rolandiere, a tiny village close to Les Deux Alpes.
He moved to this tiny alpine village from "la Riviera dei Fiori" in search of freedom and to paraglide.
As soon as he got his flying license he moved there and hadn't looked back since. In harmony with himself, he made a living photographing mountains all over the world.
In 2003 Paolo was tragically killed in an avalanche. He was reserved and quiet, apart from being a great skier.
