Route
This new bolt route is sustained but never particularly difficult. These two characteristics, combined with its setting and excellent rock, ensure that Spitagoras will become very popular.
Getting there
From Cortina d'Ampezzo drive north towards Dobbiaco into Val Rienza. Park the car after Carbonin and Lago di Landro (milestone 124km) and follow path no. 102 for Rifugio Locatelli.
Access
Approach by taking the path no. 102 to the rifugio Locatelli. The wall, dominated by the obvious arête, comes into view after about an hour. Follow a path along the foot of the wall for about 50 meters to the first bolts. Descent
Walk leftwards (east) to a small barn, from where a path leads back down into the valley. Gear
Although bolts protected, take a set of wires and some friend for the easier pitches.

Bella via su roccia da buona ad ottima. Chiodatura da via alpinistica solo che al posto dei chiodi ci sono spit, il che non toglie che un volo possa essere potenzialmente pericoloso.
Difficoltà da padroneggiare VI dolomitico.

spettacolare ed aerea ascesa
completamente attrezzata a spit senza dubbio ma tra uno e l'altro spit passano tiri da falesia....ehehe
difficilmentee integrabile,leggere bene la roccia,soste perfette

molto bella .... ma da non sottovalutare .... secondo me chi si avventura su questo "5+" deve arrampicare con molta disinvoltura sul 6a+

confermo la bellezza e la gradazione un po' stretta, sebbene abbiamo trovato le due giornate piu' fredde dell'estate 2007, quindi i primi due tili li abbiamo fatti con le dita insensibili. spit lontani significa, sui quarantacinque, cinquanta metri di lunghezza media dei tiri tre o al massimo quattro spit
