Le Grand Mammut

Established from above by Bruno Fonnesu, Le Grand Mammut is 140m high and starts immediately to the right of A scuola dal basso. It is fully bolted with difficulties up to 6a+ (one section) and obligatory 5c climbing.

ACCESS

Access as for the routes L'Italia Liberata and A scuola di Basso.

P3: 5c+, 25m
P4: 5c, 28m
P5: 5c, 28m

DESCENT

Abseil down the route. Alternatively, from the top descend down the  path Masua - Cala Domestica.

GEAR

70m rope, 15 quickdraws, helmet recommended.

NOTES

Bolted alone between May 2012 and January 2013. Generously bolted with stainless steel bolts, 3 point belays with 2 hangers and ring and chain.
