| Vertige de l'oubli 6c (6b obbl.)
D. Barreras, C. Carli, J. P. Chassagne This route is somewhat less sustained than the nearby Plenitude but it is more spectacular thanks to the exposure and the type of rock. This is slightly rougher, with more sharp shallow pockets - as a result the climbing is incredibly satisfying. The protection is excellent. From the top of the route walk back rightwards up through the forest and then descend to the road.
Plenitude 7a+ (6b+ obbl.) D. Barreras, C. Carli, J. P. Chassagne, P. Nicollet Superb climbing on compact grey limestone. Good footwork is essential, especially on the final hard pitch. The other pitches are all very beautiful but not to be underestimated - they are sustained and require good route finding ability. The protection is good, at times a bit run out. Two 50m ropes, 12 quickdraws and a selection of nuts. |
