Getting there
From Cluses drive up via numerous hairpin bends to Romme. Just after this town, heading out towards Reposoir, turn left onto a gravel road near a ski lift. This road leads to the summit of the Vuardes spur. Leave the car near a wooden hut, walk into the forest on the left and arrive after just a few minutes in the Arve valley. From here walk leftwards to a small trail and descend into a gully which runs parallel to the crag. Steel cables lead to the base of the crag (30 mins) from where a path leads first to a yellow overhanging section and then a pillar. Soon after this the bolts on L'air du temps can be seen. The other two routes are reached by continuing along the trail almost to the end of the crag where a detached pillar forms a large chimney. This is the starting point for Plenitude and Vertige (45 mins). |
