Route
This is one of the most interesting and popular climbs in the vicinity of Cortina. It tackles the cracklines up the Punta Fiames’ obvious, airy arête.
Access
The route starts at half-height and is reached via the ledge on Via Classica, or alternatively climb the direct variation up the lower section of the arête (no change in grade). Given its orientation, it is best climbed at the beginning of the season or on sunny, autumn days. Start by climbing the first 5 pitches of Via Classica to the ledge and then traverse right to the arête proper. Descent

A set of wires and friends for the cracks.

Fatta nella notte dei tempi (45 anni fa, ero ragazzo); allora unta non mi pare fosse, ma ora non oso pensare, con le migliaia di persone che ci sono passate. La ricordo bellissima, e c'eravamo solo noi (caso credo più che raro). Concordo con chi sostiene che la fessura bianca, passato lo spigolo, sia il passo più difficile (anche se, se non ricordo male, non troppo lungo). La famosa fessura una meraviglia.

Bella linea. Variante Castiglioni raccomandabile. Attenzione all'avvicinamento: lo spigolo sembra lì ma invece più camminate più si allontana finché, incredibilmente, non ci sbattete all'improvviso il naso. Cercare giorni solitari altrimenti si rischia di litigare. Discesa per uno dei più bei ghiaioni delle Dolomiti.

Bellissima via.... difficoltà perfette per divertirsi! Ad essere sincero ho trovato solo alcuni passaggi unti ma che non davano molto fastidio!
