GETTING THERE
The Tyrol can be reached easily either by train or by car. Toll payments are applied to Austrian motorways and some state highways. Payment is carried out by buying a "Vignette" sticker and sticking this onto the windscreen.
The "Vignette" sticker can be bought at post offices and newsagents. Two types of Vignette exist: one for 10 days (car € 7,60; motorbike € 4,30) and one for two months (car € 21,80; motorbike € 10,90)
