Route
Fantastic route first ascended by Massimo Da Pozzo and Danilo Serafini in September 2003. Magnificent climbing on splendid featured limestone with plenty of small pockets and small crimps, very similar to the nearby South Face of the Marmolada. The route is demanding (7b obligatory) and follows a series of slabs up the center of the S Face. Thanks to the solid rock and the beauty of the actual climbing, Spirit is comparable to the most famous routes in the Dolomites and the Rätikon.
Access
Take the SS346 from Cencenighe Agordino towards Falcade, at the fork at Caviola turn right following signs for Colmean. Park the car in the car park at the end of the tarmacked road and continue on foot along path S.689 (1274m). Walk past the Baita dei Cacciatori hut and continue on to the next hut dedicated to Papa Giovanni Paolo I. A small path continues upwards from here and at a certain point it splits into two: left leads to the Ferrata Paolin Piccolin while right leads to col De Negher. Continue right and leave the path after a few hundred meters to ascend a gully which leads quickly to the base of the wall and the start of the route. (1hour and 20 minutes). Descent
From the final equipped belay scramble up to a kairn (grade II), then make a 20m abseil to reach a ledge. Ascend this to a path which leads to the mountain summit or back down to the base. Gear

bella via, roccia super,ma la cosa davvero unica è il posto,merita proprio una visita!

Confermo la bellezza e la qualità della via, chiodata in modo esemplare. Sovragradati di mezza lettera i due 7b e il tiro chiave è al massimo 7c, l'obbligatorio non è più di 7a+. Spittatura ariosa, da affrontare con buon margine di grado. Portarsi vari kevlar per le numerose clessidre ed un camalot giallo utile per proteggersi la partenza, cose non menzionate nella relazione. 900 metri di dislivello per l'attacco, sentiero ben segnato, 1h20 un pò pochino, ma 2 h più che sufficienti. Essendo la via tutta in obliquo a sx e mancando anche gli anelli di calata alle soste, un eventuale riento a doppie è problematico e pertanto è consigliabile affrontare la salita con tempo stabile.

bella via tecnica su quel calcare desiderato da tempo,tiri valutati a mio riguardo un po eccessivamente ma ugualmente via impegnativa per esperti

Ho fatto solo il primo tiro, poi ci siamo calati perchè il cielo si è coperto e faceva un freddo boia (brina e ghiaccioli sui prati per arrivare all'attacco).Attenzione: il tempo indicato per l'avvicinamento direi che è piuttosto "ottimistico", dalla macchina all'attacco sono più di 1000m di dislivello, a mio avviso bisogna prevedere almeno 2h di cammino, soprattutto se non si conosce il sentiero (noi abbiamo sbagliato e ci abbiamo messo quasi 3h).Purtroppo non posso esprimere un giudizio sulla via, che dopo un primo tiro abbastanza psicologico sembrava molto interessante; tornerò a finirla, o meglio, a farla.
