In spring 2013 Martin Riegler and Florian Riegler forged Goldfinger ground-up through the overhanging limestone shield, and in June they freed the circa 200m with difficulties up to 7c.

The route climbs an interesting mix of cracks, slabs and pockets up the righthand side of the Hammerwand and shares the final pitch with Die Unvollendete des Sepp Schrott because "there was no point doing otherwise, anyways this pitch is really great."

Getting there
Reach Bozen / Bolzano. Access
From Bozen drive to Völser Aicha and the hotel "Schönblick". From here take path # 7 to the base of the face, scramble steeply up to the base of the route. 1 hour. Itinerary
