On 2 October Rolando Larcher made the first free ascent of "Via Bepi Mazzotti" on the Piccolo Dain (Sarca valley, Italy). The route had been first ascended by Umberto Marampon in 1985 using various points of aid, which Larcher has now freed at 8a in a 6 hour push.
