Crespi and Lavarda Italian Champions
Flavio Crespi and Jenny Lavarda win the 18th Italian Championship in Aprica 2002
| Flavio Crespi and Jenny Lavarda win the 18th Italian Championship. This is Crespi's first Italian title, conferming his 2002 form, especially since the competition proved tough to beat: Dino Lagni reached the same hold in the Final, while Cristian Brenna topped out, together with Crespi, in the Semi-Final. Jenny Lavarda walked away with her 4th national title, ahead of Lisa Benetti and Luisa Iovane. The focus remains in Aprica, as the next stage of the World Cup Difficulty will be held there next week.
