The Arco Sports Climbing Club has long been committed to promoting the value of sport and recently it has begun to seek certification of the quality of its services, placing even greater focus on the environment, the territory, its community and on sustainable development. In this context, and bearing in mind what has been achieved up to this point, the Club has decided to obtain the ISO 20121 certification for the Rock Master sports event.

The System of Sustainable Events Management is based on continuous assessment, on control and monitoring of environmental, social and economic aspects associated with these activities and services aimed at the following:

SOCIAL ASPECTS
Promote sport climbing at all levels, placing all athletes – male, female, youth, paraclimbers – at the centre of the event.
Foster participation of all those who work for the event, to ensure the safety of all persons at the event, both those who actively work for it and those who watch it.

ECONOMIC ASPECTS
Favour economic impact on the territory, both directly (cost of staging the event), and indirectly (revenues from the spectators, athletes and staff, communication, etc.. during the event and from climbers throughout the year, as well as revenues that derive from promoting a territory that is naturally suited for climbing).

ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS
Place at the forefront of all organization and promotion the protection of the environment and of the people themselves, by promoting sustainable, respectful behavior in the event areas.

The detailed objectives and strategies will be defined periodically during the Review stage.
This policy is based on the principles of continuously improving what the SSD Arrampicata Sportiva Arco offers. It will be updated periodically, based on the objectives that have been reached.
