Silvio Reffo repeats Il Frutto del Diavolo

On 14/10/2012 Silvio Reffo made the first repeat of Il Frutto del Diavolo 8c+/9a at Bus de Vela, Italy.

Fresh from his summer first ascent success on Attimo 9a at Covolo, young Italian Silvio Reffo has now checked in with the first repeat of Il Frutto del Diavolo - the fruit of the devil - at one of Italy's premier hotspots, the crag Bus de Vela.

Freed by Gabriele Moroni in 2010, this superb line is marked by a series of difficult boulder cruxes followed by fairly decent rests and the route resisted a mere 7 attempts prior to Reffo's redpoint.
