Sean McColl and Alex Puccio win adidas Rockstars 2012

In a thrilling final on Saturday 11/08/2012 Alex Puccio from the USA and Sean McColl from Canada won the adidas Rockstars 2012.

Last weekend seventy of the world's best boulderers homed in on Stuttgart's Porsche stadium to take part in the second adidas Rockstars, the spectacular event which mixes bouldering with live music and a particular formula which sees the best compete in an exciting parallel final on the same identical problem.

The women's final was disputed between Alex Puccio and Akiyo Noguchi and last year's runner-up took no chances, set off immediately and only needed 25 seconds to climb to the top and hit the buzzer. In the men's event Sean McColl proved unbeatable, leaving Jon Cardwell no chances by immediately flashing the final problem.

The event offered a 20,000 Euro prize money issued among the finalists, attracted the likes of Reinhold Messner, Dean Potter and Beat Kammerlander.
