Klemen Becan frees Fidel Incastro 9a at Grotta Caterina
Slovenian climber Klemen Becan has freed Fidel Incastro 9a at Grotta Caterina.
To escape the opressive summer heat Slovenian climber Klemen Becan travelled to the nearby Italian crag Grotta Caterina on the outskirts of Trieste where he freed two routes, Hello Ketty 8a and then, after checking out the line and failing once, Fidel Incastro. According to Becan the route could well be 9a, in any case "it's nice and worth a try."
