Originally from Seville but currently resident in Lleida in Catalonia, "Dani" is one of the most prolific new routers of all and over the last two decades has contributed like few others in making Spain a reference point for the hardest sport climbs in the world. At the crag more than 300 days a year, he also has an impressive track record as a competitor. In 2001 he won bronze in the Bouldering World Cup, while in 1997 at the Climbing World Championship in Paris he won gold in the Speed discipline.
