Here's some great news: Adam Ondra has become a bone marrow donor! For years we've been impressed by the talent of this young Cech climber and during his last trip to Spain, for example, his series of 8c+ on-sights and his 9b first ascent wrote yet another important chapter in the history of rock climbing.

Over the years Adam Ondra has often amazed us, not only as a climber but also as person. While he has transformed into a major player in the rock climbing world, he has not lost any of those qualities that distinguish his character and he has remained a humble and good-natured. Those who know him are conscious of the fact that while he's capable of devoting full attention to his vertical life, this has in now way affected his ability to observe the world around him.

And it is precisely in this sense that Adam Ondra, who recently came of age, happily surprised us by becoming a bone marrow donor! This is a gesture of deep humanity which tells us a lot about focus which isn't only on his climbing, not only about himself. Thank you Adam!

We can just hope that his simple decision (simple, because becoming bone marrow donor takes very little effort indeed), will be echoed by many of you, whose curiosity will is aroused by this great act. And, who knows, maybe you’ll also decide to imitate him, seeing that doing what he does on the rock would be a little bit harder...

If you want to know more about Adam, his decision to become a bone marrow donor and also broaden your knowledge about this topic, please take a look at www.climbforlife.it a project to which the young Cech adhered to without thinking twice.

We thank you all very much for your kind attention now and, hopefully, in the future
