Arco Youth World Championships, all the Boulder World Champions

All the recently crowned Boulder World Champions during the IFSC World Youth Championships. Youth B (Under 16): Italy’s Filip Schenk and America’s Ashima Shiraishi. Youth A (Under 18): Yoshiyuki Ogata from Japan and Janja Garnbret from Slovenia. Juniors: Jongwon Chon from South Korea and Stasa Gejo from Serbia.

Over a ten-day period in July 2015 Silvan Schüpbach and Bernadette Zak attempted to make the first free ascent of the 1200m high Piteraq up Ulamertorsuaq in Greenland. Except for a 3m pendulum on pitch 22, the swiss alpinists climbed everything free with difficulties up 7c, R, X.

On 15 August 2015 Natalia Martinez from Argentina and Camilo Rada from Chile made the first ascent of Mount Malaspina (3,776 meters), Saint Elias Mountains, Yukon, Canada.
