Today in Arco the following athletes were crowned ParaClimbing Lead World Champion: Matteo Stefani from Italy; Sebastian Richter from Germany; the Russians Mikhail Saparov, Dilyara Rakhmanknlova, Tatiana Panova; the Japanese Mineo Ono and Koichiro Kobayashi; the Spaniards Paula De La Calle and Ricardo Pérez Amado; Boyu Xia from China; András Szijártó from Hungary and Valentyna Kurshakova from the Ukraine. Our salute and thanks goes to these champions and all athlete, for the show and emotions they provided during these two days of the first IFSC ParaClimbing World Championship.

This event crowned a beautiful experience which was, quite rightly, added to the sport climbing IFSC World Championship program. The Championship is in full swing here in Arco and it will come to an end on Sunday 24 July. After last weekend's Boulder Championship, the women's Lead qualification begins tomorrow. The story continues therefore, and it has all the makings of a historical climbing championship.
