|Most climbers dream is to climb for as long as possible, even throughout the winter season.
Europe's immediate answer to this is the Mediterranean. Spain in particular has long been known as a winter climbing paradise, and Andalusia, with its host of interesting crags, has been a highly popular destination for many years.
The most famous area in southern Spain is El Chorro, but Archidona and Loja, two other overhanging mid/hard grade crags close to Granada, are also well worth a visit.
